Hey everyone. Thought I should introduce myself as I have been lurking over the past two weeks. My name is Kim. I have been TTC for three months. Just got AF today to much disappointment. I was really hoping after years and years of waiting for the right moment that I would concieve quickly. I work in women's health. I see people everyday who never intended to be pregnant and here I am. I waited until the time was right and its just not happening. I got married in March and was hoping I would concieve quickly. Much of our future (house, moving, jobs, etc) are resting on whether or not I concieve soon. Otherwise, we might have to put it off. I know many of you have tried for much longer. I can't imagine how that would feel considering how let down I feel at this moment. However, I appreciate all the support I see on this board. I'm glad I found you guys.

Welcome to the gang! & congratulations on your wedding.

I know what you mean about other people seeming to fall pregnant so easily! It's just not fair is it hun?

But keep your chin up... it's the start of a brand new cycle for you today & now you have the added bonus of us to keep you company!

There's been a spate of lucky 's lately so you never know.... some of this luck may rub off on you too.

There are some really great people on here who are more than happy to help & most of us (including me) are addicted to B&B so we're pretty much always around just give me a shout if you wanna chat xx

Hi and Welcome to bnb!!! Good luck with ttc hun! I think you'll make it more difficult for yourself if you feel you "have" to get pg within a certain timeframe and that so many important things are resting on you falling pg. In an ideal world, it would all work out when we want it to, but the nasty truth is that is doesn't. My advice to you, for what it's worth, is to just get on with your life and plan all those things like moving house as though you weren't trying. I also had no idea that ttc would take so long, (but you do kinda get used to it after a while!) I fell pg with my little girl after 10 months and we have been trying for no.2 for 15 months now. I know that we are both fertile. It just takes time and patience and a sense of humour! You can't put your life on hold, or put it off till the "perfect time".

Hello and welcome to bnb i totally agree with magicvw setting a time frame makes things so much harder and extra pressure is never a good thing when ttc .When i first started ttc i had everything planned like a military operation OH even had to come home from work- too much i know lol, i look back and cringe.
Now weve been trying for a year n half and were the most relaxed than ever and it suprisingly makes you feel more relaxed and positive. Hope your journey's a quick one xxxxx
