i have seen some people mention that their cervix changes when pregnant

can someone explain how so?

Your cervix will move during pregnancy to a higher position, but not all women's move at the same time. It's not said to be a good indicator of PG. Some don't find theirs moves until 5-6 weeks into PG.

Yes, during OV it goes higher, and opens to allow the little swimmers through. After OV it descends again. The when PG it eventually moves higher again, or if not stays down till next OV.
