Removing wisdom teeth while ttc!!!

Hi my wisdom teeth starting playing up again, so had an emergency appointment on Saturday. The dentist would not give me any pain relief or antibiotics just in case i am pregnant. I now have to have a top one out with a local anestic and no pain relief and my bottom gum cut to let it grow thro. I'm so scared anyone esle had them out with a local anestic and no pain relief, how bad does it hurt? I wouldn't mind so much if i was getting a but i'm not, if only would arrive i would be ok.

I haven't had to have mine out, but I've never heard of it being done with out some kind of pain relief.

I had mine out with just a local anaesthetic. The experience wasn't too bad. However it did hurt for about a week later and I was taking ibuprofen for the pain as it was quite painful. Can't you schedule it for when AF is due and then it it turns up have the painkillers and if not then you'll know that suffering the pain is a sacrafice worth taking.

I'd go to the doctors and demand a blood test explain why you need it.
I have had all of them out, not at the same time though. You should also be prepared to eat soup for a week. No matter how hard i tried bit's of food would always get stuck in the empty sockets in my gums and then be a nightmare to get out and be really sore whilst i was prodding with a tooth pick.

i had all 4 out. I was put under a light sadation via iv as i have a heart condition but wanted knocked out completey.

I couldnt get the bleeding to stop when i got home so when i rang them i was told to put a tea bag between the 4 (1 on each side) and bite down.

OMG it was minging and i was spitting out tea for ages but it worked something to do with whats in the tea and i think cause they are fat so pushed gard on the bleeding compared to the tissue(as i was to scared to push hard).

Im not trying to scare you but i didnt take the painkiller they gave me for ages and then when the sedation wore off it was really sore, so please take it b4 u feel pain

OUCH sounds like a good diet tho. I'm going to see my normal dentist tomorrow, so i think what ill do is see what he says, maybe not book to have them out but wait a few weeks to see if AF arrives. If nothing in 3 weeks ill book an appointment and go to my doctor the day before, will they do the blood test there? I'm having bloods taken on Thursday for other reasons.
