Is it worth the money?

I'm thinking about buying a Clearblue Fertility Monitor!

Is it worth the money, cause it costs nearly a £100?!

Yes - i know when i OV and i don't have to judge a line and it doesn't just test LH it also monitors your oestrogen levels which change around OV so it is pretty accurate.

I bought a CBFM after a month of using cheapie opks. Although the opks worked ok I just wanted something more realiable. My first month of using it I only got highs (think this is normal in first month) but did get a BFP (unfortunately it didn't stick and have since had a loss). When I asked for advice about buying it quiet a few ppl here said they had good results. For me I feel it gives me more peace of mind about when I am ovulating.

I also think my DH takes more note of it as its a gadget (men and machines!!!) and I showed it to him each morning so he knew where we were at and when it was time to bd. He seemed to take more note of it than just taking my word that I felt it was ovulation time.

They are expensive I got mine online from Superdrug and used a discount code from UK Hotdeals to get 10% off. Take a look at this link:
http://www.hotukdeals.com/all/vouche...d=false&mf=360 think the discount runs out at the end of July.

Superdrug's delivery was excellent I ordered the CBFM on a Sunday morning and it arrived on Tuesday morning. Haven't sussed out where is the cheapest for buying the sticks yet.

If you can afford it I would go for it.

I got mine at ebay for £60 incl 2 htp..which i used when i got pg. I warmly recommend it as it does what Tansey said, takes the guesswork out of when you need to bd and when you ov.

Good luck, hun!

I got mine from ebay, the seller was fertility plan. The first month i got all highs and no peak, but this month i got my peak. It uses the first cycle to get to know your cycles.

Hope this helps

Definitely worth the money hon but I would trawl ebay to get a better deal, I got mine for about £55 in the end. My cycles aren't at all regular so it's the only way I can really know when I ov and opks don't seem to work with me. It's reassuring to know you definitely ov and when that is so I'd say go for it!

Well worth the money and the cheapest I have found them was Access Diagnostics. (apart from ebay....but I get all creeped out by the ebay ones in case they're used and someone elses pee has been near them! Urgh!)

http://www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk/a...y_Monitor.html

I don't think they charge delivery either....not sure but worth checking.

They also sent me a mail telling me if I used the coupon code AD I'd get a further discount. Not sure if it works for everyone but its gotta be worth a try!

I had mine shipped from the USA.
Unfortunately I couldn't really get much use from mine as I was put on Clomid shortly thereafter. And it screwed with my readings and I never got a peak reading. But I'm going to pull it out again and try again as I'm not on Clomid, but going back on Metformin while waiting for a Gyno visit to get more tests done.

So hopefully something good will come to those who wait for once!
