Eek! Now I'm worried...

Feeling a bit worried girls - can anyone give me some advice please?

I'm not on CD26 of what I think should be a 28 day cycle. Have had faint s for the last 3 mornings (I've been crying with happiness!)... but now I've just been to the loo and got the teeny-tiniest spotting of pink CM. I mean only a diddy bit, and I only noticed because I've been going bananas over checking the tissue!! I thought if you get implantation breakthrough bleeding, you get it earlier than this? I think I Ov'd 14 days ago. Now I'm noticing every tiny twitch I'm getting and I'm starting to go loopy! I know panicing isn't going to help - should I just sit tight and wait it out, or could my tests be wrong??

Why can't this TTC lark be easy??

Oh, sweetie that would be worrying to anyone that has the excitement of a recent BFP, but try not to let it stress you out too much as that isn't good for you (or your potential little bundle!)

Many woman get spotting and bleeding on the first few days or weeks....hell my SIL was 4 months gone before she knew she was pg as she still had full blown periods, and she was worreid as they seemed heavier than normal! (and she now has a healthy 3 week old boy!)

That said, I would at least get yourself down the docs Monday morning....the not knowing whats happening is the worst and makes you more worried, and if it gets heavier get in touch with your local hospital and find out where your nearest EPU (Early Pregnancy Unit) is and they should be open 7 days a week and help you check it out.

Thank you so much - I don't honestly think it's because I usually come on 1st thing in the morning, or after I'm actually wondering if I'm might have imagined it, because it was such a miniscule amount and there's nothing there now. My God, I'm going to be a total hypochondriac for 9 months, what a nightmare for OH!

Deep breaths now, aaaaaahhhhhhhh!

Hi sounds silly but try not to worry lots of women have a small amount of spotting, i had really severe cramps for the first 12 weeks of my last pregnancy and spent the whole time a nervous wreck turned out it was twins. Hope it all goes well good luck.

Hi lousielou - I am 5.5 weeks and have been bleeding been to the hospital and they are really unalarmed by bleeding they say it happens alot and ppl still go on to be ok. If its only spotted and doesn't last v long or come to anything it may be ok. If u go to the docs they will confirm ur preg and u can tell them about the bleeding. Hope things work out for you and the bleeding just disppears.

Thanks again - you've all helped settle my nerves. I am getting occassional minor crampy type pains, but nothing like the PMT I get before is due. It's just so hard not to panic! I'm a real worrier, have to learn to relax more! I think what's not helping is that I don't quite believe the s yet

Hi hun

Your little crampy pains sound like they could be your little egg burrowing into the lining of your womb... this would also explain the slight bit of blood.

as long as you don't get any heavy bleeding accompanied by severe cramps you should be just fine.

Good luck & let us know how you get on xx
