Ovarian Cysts

My GP has referred me to a specialist today as I have cysts on my ovaries, apparently one is quite a big one. These showed up when I was scanned during my short-lived PG in May. She said it may be why it took me so long to conceive and could (at a pinch) be related to my MC. She also said it may be why some of my cycles are odd lengths.
Has anyone got any experience with this? What do ovarian cysts cause, and what kind of treatment can they do for them? Just not really sure what to expect.
Any advice or stories would be helpful.

Hey hun, firstly sorry about the cycsts, but good news for you thou, my friend had cycsts removed about 3 months ago and had a lap and she is now 6weeks pregnant.

I hope you get all the help from the specialists hun, i always see the light at the tunnel no matter how big the problem may be.

I have PCOS which can bugger up all your cycles and cause trouble ovulating.
I had the big cyst removed last year and then was too scared to go back as i didn't want to know the results. I started to follow a healthier diet and was prescribed clomid and am now ovulating regularly. Good luck hun x
