Well im on CD13 now and ive been getting EWCM since CD11 but still no positive OPK. My cycles have been between 22 and 27 days for last 4 cycles so according to FF i was due to ov from Tue til Sat so i havent been tooo worried about there being no +opk as i assumed i had until sat but with the cm for past 3 days im worried ive missed it even though i have been testing twice a day (yes POAS addict )

Im getting worried now. I really dont know how i could have missed it, but never usually get EWCM so long before ov! I thought i was going to get a + today as ive been getting cramps since yesterday but nothing yet

I will continue to test anyway and hope it happens soon!

Anna, don't despair, sometimes you can miss the peak with OPKs. The peak might not last long enough or sometimes if you are using Internet cheapies they don't have much dye in them... but if you are getting EWCM, then you should definitley be BDing!
Are you temping as well so you can confirm whether ovulation will/has occurred?

I never got a postive in my one month of ttc and using ovulation tests but got a at the end of the month.

I just got faint lines so anyhow

hmm thats the problem though. Im not ttc naturally so cant bd whenever i want. Im ttc via Donor Insemination so i have to have that +opk as i only get 1 maybe 2 chances for the insem. I usually go to my donor (which isnt close to me i have to travel couple hours) the day of my pos opk and he will donate that day and the next, so i def catch ov.

Well all i can do is keep testing and hope ive not missed it. Im using the clearblue digi so just waiting for that smiley face lol ive been using an internet cheapy in the evening aswel just to be sure but no + yet. I had very faint lines last 2 days (neg digi tho) but today no lines at all so dunno if that was just catching the end of it or not

Ive been testing since CD8. Ill give it til weekend anyway

Keep testing twice a day if you can and keep testing my positive came 3 days later than planned and like you I was having loads of cm from day 11, but didn't get the positive till day 17 I thought I'd missed mine too. Gd luck!

ast cycle i had ewcm a few days before FF and my cbfm said i had ovulated so hang in there!! if id've gone by my cm id've missed ovulation time x

I got faint opks about 4 days later than expectedfrom my EWCM - I thought I'd missed it but it just happenned a little later. I still had EWCM around OV time though. (more EWCM than the previous month)

I never got better than faint lines with the cheapies, so I just took those to be + and temps then confirmed OV about 36 hours later. I was also testing 2-3 times a day!

I see, it must be frustrating, then not to be able to see a +opK! I hope it's just a few days late.
I would have thought they would monitor ovulation using ultrasound rather than have you use OPK, though! It's much more accurate , and OPKs do sometimes give you false positives...

I think I've just read and please correct me if I'm wrong, but the ewcm stop after ovulation SO if still getting it, hopefully means you've just not ovulated yet?

yeah but if EWCM stops, then its kinda too late for her to get inseminated
