If I understood right, your period started today, right? mine did too! after a painfully long 66-day cycle! We could be cycle buddies perhaps!

I'm going to see my doctor next week and see if he can take a look at my hormone levels or something. I have been TTC since beginning of March, so it's almost 5 month (and only 2 cycles!).

Unfortunatly no period, no idea what is going on. It's so frustrating. Godd news for u a brand new cycle, get bd hope u get a soon.

u can see by my other post that ive had irregular since mc.

If u go to the doc and say that u have been doing ovulation tests and they show up as negative would they help u then. Im asking as im ttc in septmebr and if my continues this way then i dont think i will have any until then or do u still need to be ttc for 12 months b4 they even speak to u?

The doctors won't do anything for a good while.....it took us 2 months to get referred last time and then they wanted to do (repeat actually - the doc has done the bloods, but no, the hospital wanted to do their own!) a load of tests (that had to happen at certain points in the cycle and therefore took a while) before putting us on Clomid, so I think you can safely say that you wouldn't see any medical action for at least 4 or 5 months.

I asked however, if there were any problems with me trying herbal/natural remedies. They told me, that as in their opinion they didn't work that I could try anything I wanted

I used Agnus Castus and Vit B6 to reduce my cycle length down to normal, and started testing with a monitor. i found that whilst I was then ovulating, I was however suffering with Luteal Phase Defect, so a bit more research turned this up. the herbal practitioner I worked with calle d it "IVF in a Bottle" as he said it had got so many woman pregnant, that had had problems, that it was a little miracle worker. It contains Agnus Castus and a number of other Ayurvedic remedies that are supposed to regulate hormones, and encourage fertility.

I was pregnant before the doctors even finished their tests......

Maybe it's worth a go? Might not work for everyone but I know it helped me!

oh so no AF yet!
what day of your cycle are you on now? I have seen charts of women with 100day cycles and such. But a long cycle doesn't necessarily mean you will not ovulate or that you cannot get pregnant.
I understand how frustrating it is because I'm in the same situation.

I feel a bit jealous when I talk to girls with "normal" cycles and think that they can have so many more attempts at conceiving - they can try every month! which is more than twice as much as me as my cycles have been 9 weeks and 10 weeks so far.

Did you just come of BCP? If you did and your periods were "normal" before BCP then they will probably normalise in a few months.
