I'm Currently Feeling: | Still not good news but still a shred of hope.
Dr referred me to the Early Problem Pregnancy Clinic at the Ulster Hosptial. They said I was about 5 weeks which was too early for a scan. They did a preg test with a wee sample that was borderline so they took a blood sample to measure my hormone levels. Have to go back on Saturday for another blood test and then they will compare the results. If the level is raising thats good news if it's not I have had an v early miscarriage or perhaps an ectopic pregnancy. Won't get overall results until Monday maybe Tue.
They were not over alarmed by my bleeding - they said it may stop, it may continue, I could still be preg even when bleeding just have to wait.
Am very emotional about it all. I am realistic and if the preg doesn't take it doesn't take and I will just have to try again but emotionally it is stressful.
Couldn't be annoyed lying to my boss about the time off so I told her the truth and she was v understanding. Don't know if I was right to tell her as I did wanna keep it to myself but thinking how I could lie about it all was making me more stressed.
Thanks to all u ladies for ur support - its so hard when ur family and friends don't know whats goin on with u. I just wish life was simple and not so full of highs and lows. All ur words of advice and encouragement are so supportive and thank u all 4 listening out there internet land. |

Is that him in the middle of the picture he looks like a little tiny mouse? The nurses at the Ulster were really nice -I babbled on about everything from testing to crampy tummy and they listened.
Just have to wait it out. Am feelin more positive if its not my time well it's not my time will just try again. |
