I'm Currently Feeling: | Looking for some guidance Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and looking for some guidance..
Back in June me & my fiance decided that we wanted to try for a baby. My period for June started on the 06th and lasted about 6days.
We started trying on the 16th but on the 20th, I got a "second period" - this has never happened to me before, and it wasn't really a 'period' - it was a different colour and nowhere near as heavy. It was spotting for first day, a pads worth for following 2 days followed by spotting for the last day.
I have never bothered calculating my cycle lengths as I was used to being on the pill and being as regular as clockwork because of it... but I come off the pill 6+ months ago and since I've always just 'known' when I was due on (but never really took much notice how long after my last period it was).
My question now is, what 'period' do I go by to try and determine whether I am late or not?
For the last week or so I've felt extremely tired (as soon as I'm in the car on the way home from work, I'm out (good job I'm not driving :P).. as soon I've sat down on the sofa, I'm out - I cannot keep myself awake!), I've felt bloated and my belly has looked bloated, I've gained about 3lbs even tho my exercise / diet hasn't changed and I've needed to pee constantly (I can usually hold it pretty long). I've also been very moody which could just be PMT but I never suffer from it (only ever get lower back pain and then very bad period pain once I've started). Also for the last 2 days I've felt like I'm going to throw up but haven't actually been sick. Is it too early for symptoms if I am preggers??
I took a test yesterday and it come out as BFN... how long should I wait before testing again?? I'm not entirely sure if I should be due on weekend just gone or the coming weekend (it's usually either a Fri or Sun I come on), and that's if I go by the period which started on the 06th and not the 20th..... I'm so confused!!
Sorry for the very long post and thank you in advance for anyone that can give some advice! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Not too helpful cos Im very new here, but I think it might be a withdrawl bleed from coming off the pill, how long have you been on it? Something similiar happened to me when I came off it.
It could even be implemation bleeding, but sounds like its too heavy for that.. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks everyone, I think I'll just have to have the patience and wait until next week - then hopefully it will be long enough after my 'proper' period was due but close enough to the 'second period' in case I have to wait til then...!
Fingers crossed because I'm starting to think I'm just making symptoms up lol | | | | Status: Offline
