Hi All,

May be a silly question, but I always remember an old friend of mine saying that when she first realised she was PG she recognised it early because her wee went really cloudy, and her belly (just above the pubic line) went really rock hard to touch.

Now before the blessed days that I found BnB, I always kind of looked for these signs to see if I finally would get my

As I'm still trying to get the elusive , I just wondered...are these positive signs.... or just an individual thing for this girl....or just a load of old cobblers?

(It was about 10 years ago - omg really 10 yrs ??? - so we were quite young and inexperienced...who am I kidding...we were 23...I was just trying to sound less old!!)

Anyhoo, any advice would be gratefully received...and any other myths to shy away from would also be good

I think when ttc you imagine every possible symptom under the sun plus a few more thrown in for good measure. I've not heard of cloudy urine being a symptom, and I guess your tummy would only go hard if there wasn't a padding of flab to hide it (and in my case there is ...) but then I guess everyone is different just to make symptom spotting even more tricky ...

I tried googling the cloudy urine bit...but all I could see was about water infections!!

i have heard the that ur belly goes rock hard, a friend of mine said hers did that x

I would just like to say that with my daughter I had no symptoms, so I find the less you have the more likely you are lol!!!!!!

But everyone is different!!

I agree that you really do make up your symptoms almost. I was 2 days late this month and needed to pee all the time, had a lil fever and started feeling a little woozy, conviced that it was my time at last. I took a test and got bfn and af arrived a few hours later was gutted.

my friend used to work on a docs reception and told me that when you are pg your pee smells of honeypuffs! How would she know, was she sniffing the samples brought in by pg ladies?
