OMG! sorry hun I don't mean to freak you out - but 12cm??? will they not give you a general anaesthetic for a cut this big? (not that you'll feel anything with a local - I just think I'd rather be asleep... but im a wuss!)

Good luck, Im sure you'll be fine & you are definitely much better off getting rid of it xx

Don't worry hun, you'll be lying on your front and won't see a thing. Ask for ear plugs so that you can't hear them talking though, I would get nervous hearing them talking *shudder*

It's better to get it over and done with quickly, rather than hanging around waiting for months and months and once it's over you can get back to ttc.

You can do this

Aww hun, you must be really scared but I have to agree with the others, you would be best to have it done before you get pregnant. You will be more comfortable and relaxed during the pregnancy. If you waited til after you were pregnant, you would just worry about getting it done once you have delivered.

You will feel much better once it's done.

Hi there,

Very wise words from Holly, but it's best to get it out soon. You don't want to have that on your mind with a BFP

I've had cysts and moles removed by local anethestic. Some of them I watched, some I couldn't see, but they're over so quickly. It's amazing when you actually leave, you feel a bit...oh was that it?

When it comes to needles, I'm not a fan either, but a nurse taught me a little trick that I've done ever since. Sounds silly, but wiggle your toes, one foot or both....somehow it takes your mind off the needle and it doesn't hurt.

Good luck, hope you get you BFP

Yes, I have had LOTS of stitches, etc...(clumsy) but this sounds big...but, not only that, but the location really creeps me out. I mean a finger, arm, or leg...OK...but, my back!
