If you haven't already seen a doctor, make sure you see one soon to get checked over and if your doc thinks it's a good idea, get some bloods taken to make sure your kidneys are ticking over OK. Quick fluid retention in someone your age is most likely to be allergy (less likely as you've not mentioned any itchy rashes or breathing problems), hormonal or less likely, kidneys. I see you're taking liquorice too - really, really rare but it can cause liver and blood pressure problems which can lead to fluid retention so best mention this to whichever doc you end up seeing. Hope it's nothing serious (and even more hope it's pregnancy related) and let us know how you get on

Im alive...

I have a serious lung, ear and throat infection and some serious water retention.

Needless to say i should be in bed till monday, but i can't stay in bed for 5days, so im at work.

Im actually feeling fine as the antibiotics are working well and doc has placed me on some serious water tablets and hands and face looking tons beter, i have feeling back in my hands.

Doc had taken bloods and i have a slight viral infection in my blood but we are treating that with antibiotics as well.

Thanks girls, i had a fright when i started swelling up and all
