When u test with OPK's do u always get a faint line and then nearer the time to ovulation it gets stonger??

With mine i get no control line at all then a few days before ovulation it is light and it gets darker each day, then it goes back to no line at all.

just wondering if this was the same for everyone else. I use ebay cheapies.

I have just started using Clearblue digis. The test line when I got my smiley was the same darkness as the control line.

but do u get no control line at all leading up to ovulation?

I did get lines some very light but there were always lines. Before smiley face, it did go much darker.

Hon, you should always get a control line (eg. the line that comes up straight away). If you don't, it means the test's defunct or you're not doing it properly.

i was get a control line come up, what about the test line?

As Trix said - there is always a control line but if you mean do you get a faint 2nd line before OV well then yes, that can come and go because we always have a bit of the LH hormone. But it does start faint then get darker gradually for some people or some ladies have no line then suddenly dark lines on the day/day before OV.

thanks, yeh i meant the test line as i dont get anything and then it gets fainter nearer to ovulation and then gets darker.

I only ever got faint lines with ov test (cheapies from ebay) so that month and got a so i must have ovulated some time between that faint line and nothing

I used opk for one month got
-nothing only control line at first then
-control line and faint test line
-control line and test line the same darkness
-control line only
I thought the opk worked ok but splashed out on a CBFM the next month,
