Ok fair enough i could be getting the wrong idea here but it looks too suspicious for my liking!

my sister has 2 children 3 and 4.5

Last night i babysat them. She lives in a 3 bedroom house where one child had one room and the youngest 'had' the teenest box room you've ever seen (so too small to be a guest room! remember this!)
When i took them to bed last night her youngest (from the box room) has been moved into the other child's bedroom. The box room has not been made up into a guest room more of a junk/waiting to be given a purpose room.
my suspicions indigate a possible nursery room for baby number 3 which my mum has said my sister wants (eventually).
the 4.5yr old is very bright and said mummy wants to buy a four bedroom house before having another baby but i think plans are falling into place for an asap baby.

i am going to be absolutly heart broken if she announces shes pregnant before me.
selfishly i just feel its MY turn now. she got the chance to make our parents grandparents first and has 2 children already so i just want MY turn. i have said to DH i dont even care if she gets pregnant while i am pregnant but i just want the chance to announce it and have a couple of special months where my parents are excited for me.
she gets alot more attention than me so i know they will find it hard to be excited for both of us at the same time.
the only good thing that could happen from this is it could bring us closer as we could bring up our babies together altho she's very opinionated so i dare say she will be trying to 'advise' me how to do stuff more.

I get like that, i feel like i want to be the one announcing im pregnant to my parents.

its really weird cause even before i knew about the bedroom i have had a sixth sense she will announce she's pregnant or that she is pregnant or will be pregnant soon but wasnt sure if that was just me worrying but with this physical 'hint' that she could be pregnant or could get pregnant sickens me LOL

Oh hon, don't worry...I know the feeling, have sister with two and really yearn for that moment.

Good luck it will happen.....try not to stress too much about it (easier said than done, huh!)

Awww, hunny it feels rubbish doesn't it? Is there no way you can talk to her, and try and ease the tension as its not going to be helping you?

she doesnt know i am ttc and we dont have that sisterly click like most sisters have so i dont think it would of even occured to her that DH and I want children. (eventho i have worked with children all my life and am the 'mumsy' sort)

i think at least if i am prepared for it i can use the 'i knew' tatic which would ease the pain..altho i will be happy to get another niece or nephew

Bless you....thats a nice way to look at it when its obviously tough for you.

Why not try and think of it this way....let her get all her family out of the way and done, and everyone can then focus on you?
