I'm Currently Feeling: | some1 who know these stuff please answer ok i had a bleed at cd17 then one 9 days later at CD25 so i was hoping that it was ovulation and implanation bleeding (hoping is the word, as i never bleed midcycle b4 i had my mc).
So today its CD32 and i was due yesterday or today (usually 31 days but last month was 32 days)
So if it was implantataion then that was 8 days ago so heres a few questions.
If i am pregnant should it not have shown up on a test as the hgc levels double every 2-3 days and unpregnant women start of at under 5ul og hcg? I suppose if say mine was 3 then it would have went 3, 6, 12(tomorrow) so a 25ul test wouldnt show up. Im only guessing 3, so say 5 then it would go 5, 10, 20(tomorrow).
I have also heard from some1 on here that it can take a full week for the egg to actually fully implant, is that correct?
If this is the case how the helel can any of the pregnanct tests show up . I mean u read the back of the packs and they say over 80% a few days b4 due.
I got a 1 day b4 on a cheapie last time , but god im really confussed now as im 16dpo if that bleed was ovulation |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Have you tested Porkie?
A low hCG count can show up negative! Silly the way a woman can get a bfp a week before yet some nothing til a week late.
If you have not tested I would even if you do get a further bleed. Is it usual for you to bled during O (you said ovulation bleed). |

My 2 cycles after have had bleeds around ovulation(and the doc was unconcerned as it is normal. She said that even tho i never had mid cycle bleeds b4, ovulation bleeds can just happen after mc as ur body has just went throught lots.
This second cycle i had the same colour/looking bleed 9 days after the 1st and have big nipples(the bits around it) and them bumps that are there are also more prominant, basically the same way i felt last time i got a :bfp
Im just starting to think that mybe im not not preggers as what i think was an implantation bleed was 8 over a week ago
Done tests and all but have no ebay 10ul cheapies left so just using clear blue and 1st response and i hear they are 25ul |

Pregnancy doesn't start the day that partners have intercourse — it can take up to six days after intercourse for the sperm and egg to join and form a fertilized egg. Then, it can take six to 10 days for the fertilized egg to completely implant itself in the lining of the uterus. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | How long does it take for fertilization to occur?
Fertilization occurs within 24 hours after ovulation.
How long does it take for implantation to occur?
Implantation occurs about 5-10 days after ovulation.
How soon can I take my Pregnancy Test (Beta HCG or Home Pregnancy Test)?
The earliest that a sensitive blood test can pick up any HCG at all is 5-7 days after ovulation. Your quantitative serum beta test can be reliable about 10-12 days after ovulation, if you have not taken a HCG booster. Extremely sensitive home pregnancy tests might in some cases be reliable as soon as 12 dpo. If you have taken a HCG booster, then you may have a reliable test at 14 days past ovulation. The serum beta is the most reliable test. Any level over a 5 is generally considered a positive result, although having a second blood test two days later should show the numbers nearly doubling. The "average" level of hCG is about 25 at 10 dpo, 50 at 12 dpo, and 100 at 14 dpo. Note that there is a difference between a qualitative and a quantitative test. A qualitative test gives a yes or no answer. Your HCG level has to be above 50 units to get a positive result. Quantitative tests give a value to the amount of pregnancy hormone in your blood. It gives a specific number. Anything greater than 5 is considered positive. Considering that it is possible to implant as late as 10 dpo, a qualitative beta might produce a false negative if used for an early pregnancy test. http://www.inciid.org/faq.php?cat=infertility101&id=1
Mmmmm im thinking im 16dpo but i suppose its an average |
