Just wondered if anyone had any probs with FF and the prediction of O?

I had a late one this month and got +OPK on CD18 - negative CD19. I had EWCM and my CP was in the right position both CD18 and 19 so i figured ovulation was CD19. I had a slight temp dip on CD19 and then a rise thereafter so FF today said that i had ovulated on CD20?

I did get solid crosshairs but i'm still 100% positive i ovulated the day before.

I know... why quibble over a day but since i only ever have a 27 day cycle the extra day could mean implantation!!

Totally peaked too soon.... BD 5th day prior to O, 4th day prior to O and then 2 days before O! Was so sure i had O'd on CD19. Mind you, because it was so late and i thought there was no chance of it implanting due to short luteal phase, i kinda couldn't be arsed x

I've just picked up on the fact that you ovulated late and it's giving me hope that I might do the same. I had resigned myself to thinking I was having an anovulatory cycle (which I don't want), so I have you to thank for giving me a little more hope.

As for FF giving you problems. It looks right to me based on the temperatures you have input. That's definitely what it is going by and the distinct range of low changing to a range of high makes CD20 look the most likely day for ovulation.

However, I can understand you thinking it's CD19 due to your OPK reading and CM. Is there any chance at all that your temperature reading on CD20 could be wrong? If so, then why don't you try discarding this day's temperature and you may find that FF changes your ovulation day to CD19.

I would be tempted to do this, especially as you believe yourself that that is your correct O day. Give it a go and see what happens. You can always put it back to the way it is if you're not convinced.

That's what I would do anyway.

Thanks Tish - glad i've given you some hope! I thought i was having an annovulatory cycle as well and was so fed up - thought this was the second time i'd not ovulated in the last 2months. But there you go, i did!

I think either way, CD19 or 20, AF will be here next week anyway. She is due for a visit on Wednesday and i should spot from Monday so we shall see. But, stranger things have happened so maybe i will get BFP!
