Question

thick blood


hi all i am new
had my sam at 28 wks he was born sleeping docs say it was because i have thick blood so ill have to take aspirin in my next pg
but the thing is when will i start taking it will it be from when i get pg or so many wks into the pg
i will be having icsi in aug/sept so not sure what to do

anyone that can help pls

I'm Currently Feeling: 


Speak to your doc, hun. I know many use it while ttc as it also helps bloodflow to reproductive area and aids implantation. Most should stop when pg, unless directed by their doc, like yourself due to your condition, as it thins the blood so can heighten risk for mc- but not for you, obviously! The amount to take is usually about 78-81mg..also known as a baby aspirin in the US. Tesco's sells one at 78mg for pennies i think.

Hi and welcome.

Aspirin is to be avoided in normal pregnancies, so your doctor should tell you for definite how much and how often hun.
