Ah.... big move that one! Do you have any family / friends close to Bradford? I hope so... moving far away from home is difficult. Some times I wish I could pop round my mum's for a cup of tea and a chat... we just have to make do with calling every week!

Yes, I'm moving back home! Been away from home for 7 years and sooo looking forward to going back. My parents will be a 25 minute drive away (rather than four and a half hours!). I wouldn't want to be starting a family so far from home, I need my mum near by!

I would complain hunni about the gp. I had one like that and demanded I got changed gp's surgery. Cos they refused to see me, I explained I was eight weeks pregnant and gp wldn't even see me just got a nurse to tell me to stop making a fuss, there wld be nothing they cld do anyway! I was sooo heartbroken. In end I phoned up hospital who told me to come in, they did scans and hcg test and sadly confirmed m/c. this is abt six years ago. Anyway it did nohig to actually help the recovery time.

However this time, I felt I handled it much better, I mean it was only approx four weeks anyway and line didn't get any darker, so I kinda knew deep down. But went to docs and he said try not to worry, keep trying and don't test until at least six weeks, yeah right. LMAO but on the whole he was smiley and friendly, and acknowledged the little knowledge I had abt my own body, an explained I was prob right abt it ebing a chemical preg whihc meant it never developed to anything whihc helps the healing a bit too.

BUT anyway do another test and if comes up neg then go to gp but see a diff one. My son never showed up at all as a pos on a hpt, but then neither did I on my mums. In end had to go hossie to check hcg levels rising and was in for three days, thank goodness all was well, back then.

No move date yet. Got to find jobs yet and the house we're moving into needs work doing to it, so will probably be a couple of months yet.

It's complicated, this relocating business!

Thanks hun, sorry to hear about your troubles, glad that your new gp seems nicer! Interesting to hear that some pregnancies dont even show up on HPT... it may mean that your faint lines are in fact real pregnancies!!

I'll see what happens tomorrow... I'm quite chilled about it at the moment... although wait till I see a tomorrow... I'll be on here sulking!!

Well at least you know where you want to go and at least it's closer to family. I completely understand the complications of relocation.... although my move to the UK was, 1 suitcase, 1 hand luggage and my golf clubs haha... now I've filled up a three bed house!! Eeek!

Will keep everything crossed that you get your and then have a successful move before littlen arrives!! x

Thanks hun. My move doesn't really compare to yours! What prompted the decision to move from South Africa?

I was born in the UK and as I spent most of my life in SA.. I wanted to come back to the UK to see some of my family and maybe travel a bit. Been here four years now and not likely to go back to SA!

I tested this morning.. and as suspected... I'm not that upset about it... I'm just wishing for AF now!!! at least we'd be able to test for ovulation and give ourselves a better chance! xx
