Anyone know if having the air on can effect bbt?

I have know idea if thats why my temp has dropped today. Yesterday I didn'y have the air on when I temped. We turned on in the afternoon because it got so hot and humid in the house from the rain. So is it posslble for temps to fall from the air conditioning? I know I got colder last night.

Here's my chart. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1ecc9f

Also do I still have a chance for a BFP?

Thanks for your help!

Simone

Hiya hun

Its possible that having the air conditioning could affect your temp slightly but you said it wasn't on yesterday & your temp had already started falling so I think its more likely that you are going to get AF soon.

Sorry hun - I could be wrong but didn't want to build your hopes up when your chart doesn't look too good

Keep us informed how you get on tomorrow xx

depends how long ur cycles are hun ...if u r due on anytime soon then i wud say ur chart looks like af is probably coming but if u are not due for at least another week or so then it could be implantation...or jus a low temp.

This is all I could find...

The BBT rises with ovulation, but there are many other factors not related to fertility that can affect your BBT reading and should be noted in your charts: · Using a new thermometer in the same cycle. · Emotional excitement. · Sex shortly before taking the temperature. · If you have a fever. · Drinking alcohol the previous night. · Taking BBT after less than 3 hours of consecutive sleep. · Taking BBT at a different time. · Using a heating pad or electric blanket.

Good luck...x.

My cycles used to be 25-27 days, but then I got pg in March and m/c in April and this is my first cycle since then. So I don't know whats going on. Plus ff has been messing with me. It said that I o'd on the 15th and had it there up until a few days ago and now it says I o'd on the 22nd. So I'm really confused! I have been taking hpt's and all have been bfn's. I just really want to see a bfp. i need some hope! I was lookinng for it back on 4/25 when I was told by my OB that there still maybe a baby there. Instead my levels came back low and were going down. So I lost hope and I'd like to be hopeful again, but its so hard. Esp with this whole ff thing! Thanks!

aww sorry to hear that hun. so have u had a normal period since the m/c because if not then this could be a longer or it could be a bit of a messed cycle....ff goes by 3 higher temps then the previos 4...looking at ur chart it looks like u defo ovd on cd17 most luteal phase's which are days between ovulation and period last for no longer then usually 14.....if u have 18 elevated temps past ovulation it could be a good indication of pregnancy. so if your not pregnant id imagine you to come on anytime from now...hopefully ur temp rises again tomo and it was jus a low temp ...good luck hunnni x
