Hoping the witch stays outta town!

Well she's late, should have been here this morning and nowhere to be seen. I maybe fooling myself and bet shes just delayed somewhere and will show tomorrow. How do you ladies cope with this each month?!?!? The past 6months we have just been very relaxed about the whole thing and this is our 1st month properly ttc, following cycle dates, OPK's (altho' must admit that bit was a bit random), preseed and vitamins. So far had 6 months of not feeling too worried about getting af as felt it was my body getting back into a routine after coming off the patch, but this month I want it so badly. Sorry for the rant, just needed to get it off my chest! xxx.

I'm in the same boat hun, AF was due today and she *always* arrives early morning, like clockwork. This is my first month ttc too... so maybe we both got lucky first time?

If not, if she arrives tomorrow for both us we'll just have to move on and get on with a new cycle. OK? Keep me posted hun.

Thanks Shifter, you too. I know af has arrived as I am waking up normally, so it is a bit weird. But to be honest maybe I thought my cycles had settled when they haven't. I have had 3 months of 24days in a run so though that was what I was working to, but I know how our bodies play tricks at times!

Keeping my fingers crossed for us both. What is your thoughts on testing? How long would you leave it? Good luck and keep me posted too xxx.

Perhaps our cycles are changing a bit. That's why I'm trying not to get my own hopes up. I keep telling myself that AF will arrive any moment! I was determined to wait until 5 days late before testing, but as I've said on another thread, I've been feeling run down so going to docs tomorrow morning to get checked out and will probably be given a pg test there. So we'll see.

Did you check for ovulation this month? Maybe you OVed later than usual?

Basically came off contraception in Dec and we took things from a relaxed attitude the first month plus I was in and out of hospital so we weren't really concentrating. Been monitoring cycle lengths since Dec '07. So in June had the preseed at the ready and also tried using OPK sticks. Think I got a +ve 22nd, but did bed every other day the wk before and wk following so we hopefully caught ovulation whenever.

Have you been charting / using OPK's?

If the arrives tom I have my nx batch of preseed on order and 15 OPK's to go at for July, so not all is a loss

I'd say there's a very good chance there then :-)

No, not really. I've been noting my CM and other random symptoms since predicted OV. It'll take a few months of s to get me taking my temp!!

I have to say at the moment that's exactly how I feel, but I know what I am like already so maybe only a couple of months and I will be doing it, it just seems like hard work, but maybe that's because I don't understand it!

Good luck...

Hiya

Charting your temps is a lot easier than you'd imagine & I've found it incredibly helpful to give a picture of whats going on in my cycle.

Have a look at Fertility friend if you're interested (its really easy & straightforward)

Good luck xx
