Hi there, so I'm sure this type of question comes up lots. So I am CD12 on a regular 27/28 day cycle. My OH went away for a few days today so I was relieved we bded on day 11. I had some EWCM as usual this time and later on day 11 I did an OPK and there was a dark thick line altho not as dark as the guide line.

Today I tested again at about 630pm and it was a defo line about the same as the guide one. But then I tested again tonight about 945 (yes obsessed I know) thinking it would be dark again but it was very faint. I had restricted drinks etc.

My question is would that likely mean I have OVd? Does it change that quickly (ie within three hours ) like that or do regular testers think there was probably some error involved. Thanks for your help, x.

As far as i know it can change that quickly, which is why they suggest you test twice in a day... main reason being that the opk only tells you it has detected a lh surge, but is (sadly ) unable to tell you wheter you are at the beginning, middle or the end of it.

Have you tried peeonastick.com yet?

if you've gotten some bd in there, one little spermie ia all it takes, remember, and those suckers can live a long time (i got pg from bd on a wed and got + on thursday, which usually (!) means you are about to ov within 12-36 hours..
