Right girls, i just mention to my DH about taking vits to increase his fertility, he was not very impressed. Untill i quoted things off the packet, the wellman packet says its taking by professional athletes and i read somewhere that maca is taken by body builders, on that he said get some. If your having any trouble getting ur OH to take them just tell him it will turn him into a gladiator (men are just big kids). Good luck!!!

So did you buy the wellman then? We always used to take reg multi-vit's and from advice on here I swapped mine due to the Vit A content and swapped hubbie's to Wellman. He asked me why I was spending more money on vitamins and I said our health is important, it is what athlete's take (he is into his fitness too) and that was enough for him, I didn't even get round to mentioning the fertility bit as it would have freaked him out too, sounds as though our men are very similar

What will he be like with all the other stuff then - set :sex dates, charting etc, etc, etc???!!! I've decided to go for the less he's aware about the better option, although he is obviously fully involved in certain requirements!!!

Found information also about it here:

MACA PROPERTIES IN THE PERUVIAN NATURALE MEDICINE

1. TO ENERGIZE, REVITALIZE AND REGULATE: Used by Tahuantinsuyo Empire troops before battle, to increase their physical strength. To regulate menstruation, lessen menopause symptoms and help with insomnia. Recommended as well for malnutrition, convalescence, memory loss, fatigue and mental weakness.

2. AID IN FERTILITY: This is the main quality attributed to this plant by the Incas, before the arrival of the Spaniards, and the reason why it was considered magical and used in sacred rites by them and their descendants.

3. AS AN APHRODISIAC:
This property is second in importance and parallel to fertility. Much has been written about this property, as an aid to overcome frigidity.

4. ANTI-ARTHRITIC: It was used for this purpose because shamans and herbalists categorize it as a "hot plant"

5. RESPIRATORY ILLNESSES: Also probably used for this purpose because of it being considered a "hot plant"

And i know it does work.

Cause i have to say, i was very depressed for about 3 months (Being away from my family, having no friends etc) At one point i was taking mini break downs, OH was so worryed about me, he kept leaving work and checking if i was ok.

Anyway...... I started taking Maca and i feel great, am back to my old self, more happy, have more energy, were as before somedays i wasn't up to anything really. It really has changed me and made me feel better.

God i sound like one of those ad's

honest, i don't work for anyone that sells maca
