She said to tell him I'm spotting and that I'm a nervous wreck in order to get the referral. Her words, not mine!!!

Good luck
U see my doc sorta advised me to go to the hopsital and lie and gave me a wink. I think she knew i was generally concerned and not just doing it for look at the baby

Well I think that's a green light, personally. I understand that other girls are concerned about overloading the EPAC but if the health professionals themselves are encouraging it then I think that's OK. The docs/midwives just prob aren't 'officially' allowed to say it so have to do it 'off the record'.

I think you are doing the right thing. I know when I get my BFP I will be so scared and I wil try and get an early scan.

I am having a early scan next time!!! Whatever it takes, I can't wait, I would even pay!

I think it's really hard esp with the type of loss we suffered, as the sack was empty (we had blighted ovums) you just wanna check that there is actually a baby there. I understand totally love!

don't know what it's like in ireland but i had x2 chem pregnancies before this one over the course of a year so i told the docs this when i went to tell them i was preggo and asked if it was possible to have an early scan. She was more than sympathetic and arranged for an 8 weeks one even though she said that it was more than likely that the previous 2 were just one of those things. Ended up having one at 7.5 weeks which was a great reasurance (and i had had no bleeding).
