I'm Currently Feeling: | I just finished college. I'm a Teaching Assistant Level 3 now, but so far I'm a little barefoot - not preggie yet - housewife and love to have some time off after the stress of the last 2 yrs college. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I work about 30 hours a week. I have a very physical job that includes teaching aerobics and exercises. I did work until 3 weeks before I gave birth with the last baby, but, this time...as soon as I find out I am preggers...I will be off. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Everyone's different when it comes to whether they want to return to work or not. I think it's going to depend on how much you enjoy your job or the field in which you work.
If I had found my vocation I might feel differently about not wanting to work once we have a LO.
ATM I'm very much into getting involved with Steiner education. There's a toddler group near to where we're moving to, so I'll get in there with my LO and hopefully be able to help set up a kindergarten and teach there.
What I'll do in the mean time is a big ? though! |

| I work full-time (have to, to pay the old mortgage!) as a journalist / editor. Have been an editor for a few years now and it's what I've always wanted to do so shouldn't complain - but I've come to the decision that 10 years of working in an office environment is bad for the soul. I HATE the office politics; people getting in my face all day, thinking they have the right to know about my life just cos I work with them 8 hours a day; pathetic gossip and dramas over the silliest things. I'd love to work from home or do something that doesn't involve sitting in a 'typical' office all day (eg. counselling or working in a shop would be different). Working from home would be BLISS!
Am working on a script at the mo so maybe something will come from that ...
Or, hey, how about I get preggo and have a year off, looking after my bubba? O, there's one problem with that - I CAN'T SEEM TO GET PREGGO!!! :-)
Maybe one day .... xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I work Full Time - well roughly 46 hours a week as a qualified Nursery Nurse in a private Nursery. I actually run the baby room so I'm quite lucky getting my dose of baby'ness from there. Having 1 at home is going to be ace compared to having anything up to 12 a day at the mo! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I had a very well paid, but very boring old city career in telecoms/IT before I had my daughter.....10 hours a day. Loved it in my 20's....once I got married and settled down, I hated it! So a few years back decided to re-train. Spent many nights, weekends and holidays doing nail and beauty courses, have moved upto the beautiful North Wales coast and countryside (cheaper than Surrey/Hants where we were previously!) and now have my own part-time, but growing beauty business here.
I also do a little writing and have my first paid and nationally published piece (a story on my 1yr old daughter and her battle with cancer) appearing in the very next Mother and Baby magazine. Ooh, and I work voluntarily in the local area as a breastfeeding supporter, and am hopefully starting training to be a BF Counsellor.
It's nice to have time to enjoy my baby girl and concentrate on making number 2! | | | | Status: Offline
