I'm Currently Feeling:

What's going on?

Hi

I am sooooo confused. I've been filling in fertility friend with my temp/cm info. When I input yesterday's temp, it changed my ov day by 2 days as my temp dropped. I thought this may be due to me not taking temp properly (you may laugh - I had to open my mouth as I couldn't breathe through my nose properly and then after a couple of seconds, the temp beeped and gave me a reading!). Today my temp has gone up again and I have ewcm which I thought only happened when you ovulate.

Can someone help?

Sorry hun - I don't understand what you are asking? your chart looks about right but are you concerned you ov'd earlier and didn't time BDing properly?

FF will take all your signs into consideration and calculate probable ovulation from this but will not tell you until after the event so you may want to think about using OPK's which will warn you as ovulation is approaching.

I think its possible to have several patches of fertile cervical fluid but it needs to coincide with ovulation in order for you to get pregnant.

How long are your cycles? xx

My cycle is 28 days and I am as regular as clockwork. According to ff, I ov on cd16 but it's now I'm getting ewcm. Is it normal to get ewcm after you've ovulated?

I think it can carry on for a couple of days but its nothing to worry about as your egg can still be fertilised a day or so after it is released so your CM needs to be like this to help it along.

Also the EWCM may be only being noticeable to you now as gravity is forcing it downwards but it was probably produced around the time you ovulated.

If you have a 28 day cycle and ov on CD16 your cycle is exactly the same as mine!

Hope this helps xx

Thanks. Trying not to be so reactive to these things but it's so confusing. Why is getting pregnant such a lottery eh?
