| If it's chlamydia you could have had it for years hun with no symptoms.
Bet you get it checked and then at least you can both have treatment and you'll know where you stand.xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I dont really know much about chlamydia - but I'm guessing this kind of bleeding is a symptom of it?
Try not to worry until you have to (easier said than done). having a symptom of something doesn't mean you have it. You may get tested and it comes back totally clear. Or if you do have it, either your or your OH could have picked it up a long time before you were together.
Anyway, I hope it all comes back clear. Good luck xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Hun,
Hope everything goes ok for you. Like Kay has said you can have it for years without any signs. Good luck and try your best not to worry.

I'm Currently Feeling: | As already said chlamydia can lay dormant with no symptoms for years, untreated chlamydia can lead to infertility so get checked out as soon as possible. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | They do this to rule out the fact it might be, as chlamydia, is so wide spread at the moment, its the first thing they check, I got the same thing done on friday as i've had messed up af, bleeding during sex and pain sometimes during sex which can all be signs, even though i told her i know for a fact i haven't got it (I got tested in Jan, when i went to a women health centre about thrush, and they gave me all the checks for everything, they do that now a days and it came back clear, i have not cheat on my OH and he's not me, he also got tested when he had thrush also in Jan and that came back clear.), It doesn't mean you have it, but they have to double check its not. as the others said it could have been there for years.
80% of women don't have symptoms at all.
Hope it comes back clear for you. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I used to worry that I might have contracted the big C in my youth when I had a boyfriend who turned out to be a ****. For ages I thought I should get checked, because of the long term complications it can cause.
I never did get tested and I had put it out of mind until now. Thing is, how do you reconcile getting tested out of the blue when you've been with your partner for 9 years?
(Sorry, don't mean to hyjack the thread) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Shifter - I would just say to OH that you're going to have a health check. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | As others have said either one of you could of had it for years and not know about it ... but if your TTC is sooooo important to rule things like that out as ive heard from so many women who have had problems TTC as a result of Chlamydia.
Good luck!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | They do Chlamydia tests as a matter of course whenever there's unexplained bleeding/spotting. I had the same thing done and was a nervous wreck, but it all turned out clear and was a weight off my mind. It's just routine, so try not to worry. And in the unlikely case that you do have C, as the others have said, it's best to find out asap so that it can be treated.
Try not to worry, the docs just need to rule it out. Good luck |
