Thing is with the majority of people doing these readings is that they tell you a whole bunch of pretty vague and/or obvious stuff and the customer latches on to the bits that they can apply to their own life. They forget about all the stuff that was wrong or not applicable.

If you're told that you'll be pregnant by September, and you want kids about now, if you're not already ttc, it stands to reason that you will BD like crazy in July/August and chances are will be pregnant come September.

But if you hadn't been told this by someone claiming to be psychic, would you still put extra effort in in those months? Is it a self-fullfilling prophecy?

I think hope is great, but you can't let your life be ruled by predictions, you have to make sure you keep grounded and don't forget to enjoy the here and now.

False hope can be very harmful, especially when some has been trying for so long that they will cling on to that date or time, then imagine how crushing it is when it doesnt happen.

Hmmmm.... May be of a different opinion to most of you here, but I am a spiritualist and I do work as a medium. A Spiritualist and a Psychic are really two different things. A mediums job, be they just giving you a message, using tarots or runes or anything else for that matter is to give evidence of life after death, not to predict your future. We're not fortune tellers and Spirit should not be predicting the future.

As for the money thing, unfortunately as with anything in this world it is used for peoples own means and they'll take advantage of it all they can. I wouldn't ever do readings online, nor would I ever have one done online, because to me the connection we work on is just not the same, but that's my personal opinion. If you genuinely want a reading done I would suggest finding your local church and going through them, least you'd have more chance of finding someone who's in this for the right reasons then. Our church charges £10 for a 30 minute reading, and it's not to make money off everyone and use it for personal gain, it's to pay the morgage on the building we use for services and community activites. I truly hope that you do get your BFP in the future sweetheart, but like someone else said, If a psychic told you you'll buy a red car in the future, that'll be planted into your subconcious and then if you go to buy a car.. oo look.. red... hmm. Like I said this is my beliefs, I am a Spiritualist Medium and Spiritualism is my religion, so I may be a bit strongly opinionated lol. But there's no use in second best when you know what should and shouldn't be happening.

Some hope is never a bad thing, but it should be hope from the right places and not from people trying to make a quick earner. Please be careful not to get hooked onto this honey, one reading every 6 months is all that is needed, maybe every 3 months at the most. <3 take care and as I said, I wish you all the luck in the world <3
