I'm Currently Feeling: | When do you say you got pregnant if your AF started on the 29th of the month
cause am i right in thinking that when you get your bfp you count the weeks and days from the first day of your last period?
so another example if my AF started yesterday (29th June) and i get pregnant after conceiving in July when do i say i got pregnant in June or July.
sorry this is probably such a thick question but i dont mind being thick infront of you guys lol |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Id probably say i got pg at end of june but found out in July..i know what you mean though. technically you ( and we) know that you actually got pg in july, lol!
Btw, im the same though...af 21 june..so if i got pg this 'month' (god willing ) i wouldnt have really, until July...
Just say what you want , what makes sense to you, i guess, is the answer.
Good luck, hun...and for gods sake, dont ever feel silly for asking a question- thats the great thing about this place..someone always knows someting or has the answer, lol!

I'm Currently Feeling: | When you fall pregnant you count it from the first day of AF so if you got a BFP when your AF was due - you would be 4 weeks pg by that point x |

so by the end of your cycle/ begining of new one you (if your cycle is 28 days)
will be 4 weeks preg by the doctors, but in fact you will only be 2 weeks !!!!!!
(if you o'd on day 14 etc etc )
hope this helps

LouisaL don't forget that doctors count an extra 2 weeks onto a pregnancy becuase they start counting from af. So, if cd1 was the 29th june, you would get pregnant in July in practice (cos thats when u really conceive), but in June in theory (cos that's when the docs count from)! Of course what this means is that as soon as you conceive you are already 2 weeks pg in the doctors eyes, which is v silly, but hey ho!
Tansey is right, so whilst pg, you would normally refer to how far gone you are in doctors terms, ie 2 weeks as soon as you fall.
Once you are a mum, you'll probably look back and think "i got pg in such and such a month" which is actually the real one!
hope that helps! |
