... but then i knew there wld be bad reaction but still it breaks my heart.

My sister is also pregnant and four week ahead of me if all being well on my lil posititive. Anyway I knew I'd have to tell her as I thought she'd be a bit gutted about stealing her thunder as it were but she's completly gone into lecturing me. Telling me how disapointed she is with me, I fell pregannt by accident with my ds and this time, although me and dp have been togethe six months we've only been living together two months.

I know my Mum is gonna freak out so it seems none of my family will be happy abt the brith of this little one, whihc I am completly gutted abt, cos I cldn't be more happier.

Your sister is right out of order. How dare she? What happened to Congratulations? As for your mum freaking out, I'm sure she will be just fine after the shock.

I think you might be right about your sister feeling a little put out if she thinks you are taking some of the attention away from her but she has no right to make you feel this way.

Im sure she'll realise she's reacted badly and everything will be fine once she gets used to the idea & realises she can now share the whole pregnancy experience with you xx

I know she's just worried about me, I mean my first (my ds) was a complete accident and ended up staying with the guy just for sake of baby he turned out to be abusive and an alocholic needless to say i left when ds was under one month as knew it was nto worth it all, however sadly there were court cases for two and a half years afterwards and he continually harrased me, did put alot of pressure on my family tbh.

I guess she's 'dispointed' cos again it's happened so quickly, but I have nothing but good feeling abt my new dp which I never had previously. I do understand she'd be worried but wld of been able to handle it better if she'd said it was all abt her and stealing her thunder I mean i'd understand, also she's been trying to four months and although we were 'trying' loosely using term it only took one cycle. Which I am grateful for. I'm always gonna be so completly happy it'll be my first niece nephew and am so excited for her.

Anyway as for my Mum well she's never gonna accept my partner even if he was a complete saint, cos of my ex she's judgein new dp on all that happened before, but he is a completly diff person. I think she's just gonna keep making excuses up to not like him, and worse still he has a daughter and i so don't think my Mum gonna even accpet her, and this makes me really really sad.
