Pregnancy Symptoms - How Early?

Hi girls,

So, I ovulated on Wednesday (give or take a day), me and OH had plenty of sex. Yesterday my boobs started feeling a little sore and a bit weighty. I have never had this leading up to AF, I only had it the last time I fell pregnant (unfortunely ended in a M/C).

I keep trying to remember how early on I felt this last time but as I wasn't taking that much notice I just can't remember. It wasn't until just before I was due on that I noticed this.

What I want to know is, can you have pregnancy symptoms this early? I find myself poking my boobs all the time to make sure it's not just in my head. I'm really hoping for a BFP so am thinking too much about every little niggle I feel. Aaaaarrrrrhhhhhhh!!!!

Do you think poking yourself in the boob could be adding to the discomfort? I'm not sure how early on you can get PG symptoms - sorry.

I read in one place only that the quickest implantation takes 3 days so I guess 3 DPO could be the earliest time to feel symptoms. But the norm is I think 6-14 DPO.

Hope you get your

I asked on FF once whether what I was feeling could have been symptoms (at about 3dpo) and I got a pretty snotty reply back to say they were obviously before any implantation so obviously not pg symptoms! Ooh, excuse me for asking!!

So what I got from that, other than wanting to hit the snotty girl, was that you're not meant to get pg symptoms til after implantation which is typically 7-10 dpo but at the end of the day, everyone's different and some can implant earlier than others. I also can't help thinking that surely our bodies must notice that we have a fertilised egg floating about even if it hasn't implanted yet??

Good luck hon, hope this is your !!

How rude! What I love about you girls on here is that I'm able to ask anything and everything without fear of being told I'm asking a dumb question

Hope this is your Em! x

Your not really supposed to feel symptoms until after implantation which is usually 7-10dpo. Until then, the egg is free floating and would not yet affect your body. After implantation, your HCG levels will begin to rise. These are the hormones that create the 'symptoms' of pregnancy. But saying that, everyone is different with implantation times and i guess only you know your own body

Good Luck, hope your get your BFP!
