If it's a girl: Emily Beatrice Rhiannon. (This we agree on)
If it's a boy we'll never agree!!!! Though a close friend told me that no man will dare to argue with a woman who has just given birth, so I'm relying on that factor to get my own way. Still undecided myself as to boys names, but OH hates all mine and I hate all his. Let's just hope when we finally get a sticky bean in there it is a girl to make life easy!!!

We have no boys names - not sure why? And i can't tell anyone our girls name which OH came up with! Because i teach i have to put up with different names everyday and it makes it hard to choose your own. At the moment there are loads of Callums or Connors and Martha or Katies in year 7. Also i have a scouse accent (not too thick) but when the child was older and playing up i don't want to shout their name and sound like a fisher wife!!

Ditto-I know soooooooooo many Joshua's, Grace's, Millie's and Connor's!!

I used to really love the name Grace but then met a really badly behaved little girl with that name and now cant bear the thought of calling my Daughter that. . .

I agree DonnaBallona & Tansey -it's funny how you link names to children you already know and how they behave and their character. At work we have lots of Jack's (which I do like) but there are just too many of them around. I like Katie for a girl and again thats popular already. In my work children with the same names get referred to with their surname as well e.g. has Jack Jones finished his break yet, tell Jack Smith we are going outside. I would like a less common name so my child doesn't always have their surname tagged on the end to identify them.

I'm also a teacher, and it is incredible how kids can put you right off names if they are badly behaved, or sometimes even with nice kiddies, you just find it hard to imagine your own child with the same name as them.
