just got my e bay cheapies (v excited!!!!) and it says on the hpt's to
allow urine to sit for a while before using tests to let it get to room temp?
is this usual or correct?? never read this on hpt before, have i just read the bits i want n missed this bit out before??????

Im not sure... but i think this may have something to do with if you peed in a cup 1st thing in the morning then kept it for later use - EG if you needed to go & buy a HPT but wanted to use first morning urine... then maybe refrigerated it (I know i know... sounds gross but apparently it lasts longer in the fridge without the HCG dropping?) xx

the directions from my internet cheapies said to allow the test strips to reach room temp ( i guess if they had been in extreme heat or cold in the post) but said nothing of the urine.

thanks pp,hayley, dont really have time to let the wee wee sit to reach room temp anyway so if i'm testing with fmu and at work that day.....NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!! dont usually get out of bed till about 5 mins b4 i start !!!!think will just have to risk!

nicky.. it says to pee in cup then let it sit 4 20 mins to let pee cool??? know this is so for opk's but never heard for hpt (it never mentioned if refigerated to allow it to warm up) thats why i was a little confumbled!!

My internet cheapies say to allow test strip and urine to come to room temp...but I would figure if you have HCG in your wee then it will be there hot or cold???

Tough one but I would say it would show either way!
