Hey girls

As got me this week, I am gearing up for an early birthday present next month ().

I have 7 CB digi OV sticks ready for use.

According to the instructions, I need to POAS on CD8 (I have a 25 day cycle on average). Then we need to get down to some for 2 days when I get that smiley face.

Surely 2 days of fun cant be enough? I know that it detects a surge of hormones but I dont want another .

I am currently on CD5 and can O anything from CD 10 - CD 13/14.

Am really not loving OV sticks this month. I had a few days earlier on in the week where i was sure I was ovulating (tiny bit of EW and bad cramps) but not once were the OPKs positive.

Don't really know what to think of then, any more.

As for the 2 days of fun...have as many days of fun as you like. There is babymaking fun and just fun. The 'just fun' is a lot less tedious, I do believe...

Thanks Curly. Not having used them before, I am really interested in knowing other peoples experiences of them (good or bad). Sorry you have not had any joy with them darling. Could it be early days though?

I do chart my cycle each month on a spreadsheet and am trying to gather as much info and suss out when I do OV each month. I really dont want to go down the route of temping as I feel I will only get obsessive. I want to try using these sticks for 6 cycles and if I dont get a , I am off to the docs.

I dont want to get to that point but may have to as I am nearly 37 .

I used them last month and got nada .. not a line, no smiley face etc BUT I do struggle not to pee for 4 hours so that may have been why!!
I have 10 Boots own OPKs for this month and am determined to try to get them to work, I need them as AF is hanging about for longer than usual and I had a week of spotting before she arrived so pinpointing O needs some help with month.

Personally we will start BDing every other day as soon as AF leaves and up it to daily when I get a + on an OPK for 3/4 days till after I know I've O'd

At least that's the plan ........................... a basic slightly tweeked EMSP

me 2 rump, this is my 1st cycle ttc n got this morning but didnt chart or use sticks just hoped i ov'd 14 days ago!!! so i'm quite excited for a 'proper' month using sticks !!

yep 2 days is def enought as i with other half and he used the withdrawl method the 1st few times we had sex and i got a at the end of that month
