I was wondering if I should put my CD1 forward a couple of days as this cycle I had a week of spotting before AF arrived properly I counted CD1 as the day the spotting got heavier and I needed a pad ..
BUT it's now CD9 and AF is not going (I reckon I've got another 2 days with her still about) ...... I'm now worried I started my new cycle to soon. I'm pretty regular and generally only bleed for 5-7 days max
I'm worried by doing CD1 to soon i'll be out with when I expect to O?

well 9 days of AF it is very very long...i guess you could move i forward of a a day or 2 ...but how was your second day of AF was it a flow or just spotting?

you can always do that but then make sure your confirm your "O" dates with opks ...do you temp Farie ?

I don't temp but I have 10 OPKs ready and waiting for action in the bathroom! I would say that the real full flow new blood didn't start till about CD3 *toddles off to check journal*
Usually I have a good idea about when my cycles start and end, but the week long spotting and brown discharge really threw me this month.


*edited to add that although i had brown discharge and needed a pad actual 'flow' didn't really start till about CD5*

Off to change CD1 then ..... will move it forward 3 days I think ...... I said the 18th was CD1 .. but full flow didn't start till the 22nd
Will make CD1 the 21st ... it was the fisrt day of 'proper light flow' ... my poor journal!!!! It going to be so messed up this month!!

so you need to discard the spotting and brown discharge ( i get that 3 to 5 days sometimes before AF as well)...
count CD1 as when you have a full flow like you need to change regulary during the all day

Right - adjustments made ... CD6 today, the 21st now counted as CD1 as it was when I got the first proper 'new blood' (sorry far to much info)

This is where im confussed this month as i had 1 day or flow/spotting then a few days of spotting then full flow. Im just leaving my ticker as it is as its too late now
