Has anyone heard of ovulation sickness? It's not a medical term I don't think, but I feel terribly pukey for a couple of days around ovulation time... or am I imagining it? The last few months have been particularly noticable and I'm heaving as I type this!

i wish i had such signs around ovulation, but usually i have nothing. This time though i did feel a bit crappy.....

guess everyone has different signs.....

hope you have toilet/bucket nearby just in case!

I never used to get this at all but this time I felt really sick at OV time. I recently MCed and had horrendous nausea during my pregnancy. Then when I OVed first time after the MC the sick feeling came back. It was really weird.

Urgh, it was really bad last night - had to get up at 2.30am I felt so bad! Ho hum, at least it's a sign though, shouldn't complain I guess!

I generally have a dull headache when I ovulate as well as CM. This is the first time that I have had very slight abdominal pains towards my sides.

Wierd thing is, I never noticed any of thse dodgy symptoms until I started looking out for them!!

It's amazing what symptoms we get when we look for them!!!!
And then I start spotting things when I'm not even looking. Talk about body-hyper-awareness!!!

I know what you mean, when it comes to ovulating I get carried away with looking for signs. I seem to notice every little twinge.

Hi Lou, I get worse symptoms at ov than I do at af. I never used to get any before I m/c is april. I got loads of symptoms ie tiredness, sickly, gas, back ache, sore boobs the lot so I knew I was pg. But the 2 cycles Ive had after it I have had near enough the exact same symptoms from ov right up until af has finished! I too could be physically sick and heave quite a bit, Im extremely tired, I have back ache, my boobies feel as though they are going to drop off etc and I have 3 days before af is due.
Its really weird it only happens since m/c.

I've heard from other women that after a first pregnancy, their symptoms are more noticeable in second and third etc, as their bodies easily fall into the same pattern with the hormones. Maybe we are experiencing this when the LH hormones kick in at OV too?
Or maybe we are just so much more depserate for a baby after MC, that we are making it all happen. (if indeed it is possible for me to be more desperate than I was before!!)
