... but AF not due for another week.

I have some symptoms I usually get the day before AF is due and the first day of my cycle. But I'm a week away yet. I have some mild cramping - more like a tightness in my lower abdoman, am bloated, have a slightly increased appetite, some gas and a bit of constipation the last two days. I'm ~6dpo. I'm also *really* tired - went to bed at 8.30 last night.

Hmm. What to think...

I have been the same for the last 2 weeks, real sharp stabbing like pain in my lower abdomen, I am bloated, also feel really tired, my skin is terrible (like I haven't washed in a week!, promise I have tho!). AF is suppose to be due in the next couple of days. I have also had an increase in CM, much more watery than normal so i'm hoping the stays away this month!

the heaviness and pains can actually be the womb stretching when u are pregnant I had it the 2 times i got a

Could be pg signs but could also just be due to the fact that you are TTC and are more aware of what is happening to your body now. Also the increase in hormones mid LP can have these effects. Good luck, only one week to go!

I had strong period pains a week before my period was due last month and thought I was pregnant, but turned out I wasnt. I havent had them this time and I am pregnant.
However I would say that this time I had some strange pains lower down in my abdomen, and twinges, kinda like how you were describing. They werent really like period pains, so perhaps you are getting these.

Thanks all. I think Tansey has a good point and I am trying to avoid sign spotting too much as I do think we tend to find what we are looking for in these situations, if you get what I mean!

9dpo now... I've decided to hold off testing unless my period is late. AF due Thursday, so will prob not test for over a week yet, unless AF arrives on time, then obviously I won't bother testing this month!
