If i had a small bleed one day and thought it was ovulation do u think it would mean that u ovulated that day or b4 that day?

I was thinking that day but then i thought mybe it was the day b4 or a few days b4 as i would take a while for the blood to appear after the burst folicle. What do u all think or have any1 read anything that explains it?

What I have read about ovulation spotting suggests it happens at the time of ovulation as they say after you have noted pinkish/brown streaks in your ewcm your temps should start rising.....but i'm not really sure to be honest so would be interested to hear what others think.
