Ok I know another lady just asked this, but my case is kinda different. According to my chart i am 4dpo, i've had a bad ear infection and haven't been sleeping well and have been taking pain medicine (tyenol) at night to help, so my temps have been messed up. Anyways today when i got home i used one of my last three opks just to see if i would even get a faint line, and i got a very dark positive opk. I am only 4dpo, i didn't think you could get a positive for pregnancy this early. So i thought maybe i didn't o when my chart said i did, so i fixed a discarded temp and it will still say i o'ed on cycle day 16. What in the heck is going on? Is it possible to get a positive opk before a postive hpt? Or have i really not o'ed yet. I know opk can be used as hpts but they aren't suppose to be postive until after you get a positive hpt. I am so confused! Any advice?

Well I have asked the similar question on here, and the ladies kindly advised me.

I am 12/13dpo though, as you are 4dpo perhaps you have ovulated a few days later than expected, and as you are on medication I guess that could have confused things.
On the other hand perhaps you ovulated earlier, and therefore perhaps you are further passed ovulation than you thought.
I am afraid that I am not exactly an expert on this kind of thing, but I would either be thinking about bding! or doing a pregnancy test just in case.
