So do we think there's not much point in bding coming up to ov unless you've got lots of ewcm to preserve the eggie??? Worried now!
I think the average is supposed to be about 12 hours for the eggy.

I wouldn't worry too much about ewcm- what you see is only the stuff that has made it's way down your plumbing and onto your toilet paper! Most of it is up at the neck of your womb where it's needed!

Thanks for all your posts. I thought it was 12 to 24 hours for the egg, so looks like I was pretty spot on. After all that doing sums and wondering about it, poor OH was too tired last night anyway!!!!! Typical!!! Ah well, we were pushing it for the 24 hours anyway, unless the little fellas had swam like olympic swimmers, and I'm not sure they can be that fast!!! Just hoping for a Sunday OV next time. Trying to fit in round OH's silly shift work is a joke!!
PS: I gather preseed can work a bit like EWCM, and give the little swimmers a bit of extra life up there.
