I'm Currently Feeling:  | Hi I'm New and had a BFN Tuesday
Hello everyone
I'm new to the site!
My DH and I have been TTC since December with no luck - I've had a regular 27 day cycle since we started TTC but this month AF was due Tuesday and as yet still no sign but I did a test Tuesday morning and got a BFN. Are false negatives common? I used ClearBlue Digital. | | | | Status: Offline

Clearblues are usually pretty good but everyones different and sometimes it takes awhile for the positive to show up.

I'm Currently Feeling: | test again! its not so much that false negatives are common as if there is any hcg in your body it will be picked by the test.
It can take a while for some women to get to a level of hcg that tests can pick up.

Sorry to hear about your  has AF arrived yet? When i was PG with my youngest i got a false neg after two bfp's then more bfp's so mayby its to early, or mayby you had a lot to drink when you did the test, what time of day did you do the test hun?

I'm Currently Feeling:  |  Welcome to the forum. It is possible to get a false negative, it just means that the HCG hormone hasn't built up enough for an HPT to detect it. I was 5 days late for AF before I finally got a positive!

I'm Currently Feeling:  | yeah i agree with the other girlies.. wait a few days and re test.. but ive also heard that cb digi arent actually that sensitive they just easier to read... maybe try and earlybird or a first response....
