Generally a one off temp difference may be something or nothing - it could just be a one off blip and come back up tomorrow. Sorry - bit of a vague answer!!

yeh that makes sense hun thanks, i guess after this month of temping, i can look back and start to see a pattern, i wouldnt really notice much at the mo

Hey bertie bert bert!

Panic ye not...

You would still ahve residaul progesterone in your system during your period and this may have kept your AF temps artificially high (hence some peeps don't start charting their temps until AFTER AF has finished).

Also once your AF is complete you are beginning your cycle again (AF is the end of a cycle not the beginning as we like to think but it's easier for us to mark it as such as it is a defined point!!), thus Estrogen is beginning to re-emerge.

Thus the combo of Hot Hormone PRogesterone leaving you, plus Cold Hormone Estrogen ererging, you will likely find a drop in temps after your AF.

Once you are nearing OV, you may once again notice a little dippy dip (you may not!!) which is your Estrogen surge which triggers the LH surge which triggers OV. Then the Corpus Luteum takes over and squirts out progesterone and away we go again with the hottie hot hot temps!

Now....Prof Brady will go ahve a cup of tea!

Hiya,

I would suggest it could be a combo of a odd temp which we all get, plus finishing AF, plus if you woke up earlier than normal.

Bert to get your chart in your sig:

Go to your chart...click on "Homepage Setup" and copy & paste the link it gives you.

Go into User Signature.....Type "My Chart" and highlight it.

Then click on the world with a link icon and it will bring up a litle window where you paste in your homepage from FF.

That will create a link to your chart via the words "My Chart"
