I'm Currently Feeling:  | ive been doctors...
hi girlies,
well ive just come back from doctors....confused!
im 22days late i did a test yesterday  , went to my appointment and the nurse i saw did one of their tests and she said there was a very faint line so to be sure she did another that came up negative!!
i told her i came for a blood test to see if i am infact pregnant but its that my hcg is too low for test she said ok, but the blood test she did was to check how my kidneys are doing (i have kidney failure) and is only sending off a urine sample to the hospital????
anyway result will be back this afternoon...so dont know what to feel?!
do u have to wait for a urine sample to be sent off b4 you get a blood test?
sorry for the rant!!!
fingers crossed that the urine sample she did send off comes back positive as she said the hospital test is far more sensitive! is it though? or was i fobbed off?  |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | hospital ones are the same as the wee ebay strips, just basic ones. I am surprised she couldnt just add an hcg test to your blood as it was being taken anywa? maybe it's a protocol thing that they are not allowed to do it until x time has passed I don't know. I would push for it. Maybe phone the doctor rather than speaking to the nurse? |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | hey claire la. I am in exactly the same position, was at the docs yday getting another urine and it was , so they asked me to wait until next weeks, which would make me 9 weeks, the same time as i got a with my son and then if nothing go back for bloods , hope you get sorted , Id rather just take  and look forward to next month if I am not preggers  xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i've phoned the docs back up and they have told me the nurse was wrong the test may be back friday but maybe monday.....im on such a downer today think gonna have soak in bath and a good cry!!! |
