to be honest most doctors are pretty useless... i tried to get my very irregular heavy and painful periods sorted for about 8 yrs and they were reluctant to even send me for a scan...
the best thing is to be persisitant until they give u what u want.. i dont understand why they couldnt just do an extra tube of blood and test that for hcg.... its not like ur only 2 days late your nearly a month... doctors are far to eager to brush everything off and not investigate.. no wonder the nhs is in such a shambles and private health care is booming...

but i hope u get the result u want or even for af to show so u can at leats get on with ttc next month.. fingers crossed for u
