I'm Currently Feeling: | false negative hello,
I was curious what the chances were of false negatives early on?
I should be on CD8, but no sign of . I took two tests, both from the same packet, and they both showed faint lines that I am pretty sure are evap lines. (sorry, this may be TMI) I have sore boobs, lots of CM, gas, higher than normal temp, but not a fever, sore back, sleepiness.
I'm going to go to a walk in clinic today (my family doc is on mat leave). However, I'm scared that there may be something wrong.
Thanks in advance for any opinions or advice.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Well maybe they are actually lines Evaps are not all that common really. Why not test with another brand to the ones you have used and see what happens?
Good luck! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Your doing the best thing about going too the walk in clinic good luck.
I would say maybe you don't have a enough HGC in your urine to get you a strong BFP. You can get a neg when your actually pergnant because of the reason i said above. But it looks like it is a bnp cause you can't get a false bnp unless u have HGC in your body through med you are on. I would test again
But usually doctors test are less sensitive than home test. Don't know why that is. But i do know some people who got a neg on there home test and got a with the doctors one lol
They can also find out your pregnant from taking your blood also.
Its best too get it checked out, too give yourself some peace of mind xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | False negatives are actually pretty common, sometimes there just isn't enough of the HCG hormone in your body for the test to detect it. I was 5 days late for AF before I finally tested positive. Good luck at the walk-in clinic |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey, sorry to crash your thread Icrepka, I hope that your tests weren't evap lines and that another test comes up bFP for you!
I have a quick question for Vickie... You said that AF was 5 days late before you got BFP... I'm curious to know how close to the 5th day were you still getting BFN's? My scenario is tested on AF Due day and tested today (2 days later) both BFN... no sign of AF and lots of signs of pregnancy. In fact I'm convinced I'm pregnant because my body is behaving exactly as it did three months ago when I first fell pregnant... I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that the BFP could be around the corner!
Sorry for crashing the thread! and will keep everything crossed for you Icrepka!! xx | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks Vickie.... that's SOOOOOO reassuring for me! I can't test for the next two days as I'm away from home on business... so will test again on Friday morning when back home with hubby!
Lea - let us know how you get on with the clinic... I'm sure all will be okay and just that your hcg levels are rising slowly!! Fingers crossed for a dark line BFP!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Finally got back from the dr's office. I was there for nearly 2 hours waiting. got a with a urine test. However, they did find trace amounts of blood in my urine sample. I have an infection. He gave me a script for baby friendly antibiotics, and is sending me for blood work to test for pregnancy and to get a white blood cell count.
I'm going to go to bed now. I'm just worn. I really hope the comes soon now.
