ok so i'm ttc at the mo but no one knows n i was sitting at work the other day day dreaming about a baby whilst having lunch n everyone got onto the subject of babies so naturally my ears pricked!
we started talkin about a friend of mine who's due for c section on tues, who's son (my god son) has autism (v mild)
one of my colleagues said why do people like this keep on breeding, they should not be allowed, what happens if another brat like that pops out ?? they should all be put down at birth!?!?! :O

i couldn't believe she came out with it i was completely GOBSMACKED!!

i didn't think there were people like that? am i just very naive ?? i know babies arent everyones cup of tea but come on... thats a bit extreme !?!?

any thoughts??

yer she did know i was his god mother!! i couldnt believe it, you know when you'r just so shocked i couldnt say anything n i'm normally one to go off on one at people like that !!!

OMFG that is so mean!! i mean so what if the child his a mental problem or what ever, its not like they are getting less love than any other child in this world!! I can't believe people would be so ignorant to say something that dumb! omg! and not each child is going to be the exact same, i know a family that has 8 kids and only one of them is autistic and he still leads a normal life... WOW i never thought people could be that rude!

I know exactly what you mean! Some people are so so cruel they think that special needs people are not real people! I just find it incredible I know its not the same but anyone of us could be involved in an accident tomorrow and end up in a wheelchair does that mean that someone should kill us off?

i never would have believed someone could be so mean about a child with problems like my g,son he is the sweetest little boy EVER n he gets so much love from his whole family, and for her to be so narrow minded that her next babe would end up with the same probs sickens me! i understand and respect other peoples opinions but this ........
