opk confusion

Maybe someone could have some insight into this question...

Is there a reason why I would keep getting positive opks? I got a positive on cd 17 and tested on cd 22 and it is still positive (it's an internet cheapie and the test line is pretty much the same color as the control line). I would imagine that the test line would be barely there if i actually got a surge on cd 17. The only reason I tested again is because my temp has not shifted yet and I am concerned that maybe I didn't ovulate!! Has this happened to anyone before?

if they detect the surge say 36 hours before then that could explain you get positives 2 maybe even 3 days in a row. Maybe the second detection a few days later showed another positive because you had a chance of conceiving?

Sorry it's not much help chick - i'd just go BDing to be on the safe side!!
