I'm Currently Feeling: | Thinking of Changing Gynos I don't know, as of late I'm feeling like my Gyno has his mind elsewhere. I don't expect him to be all about me, but it seems he's blind lately!
I rang him to organise a script for Clomid as I was doubling the dosage, at his request. His secretary told me he would do one up and I could pick it up, when I got there he'd not even come close to doing it up. Then I get a message on my mobile from him going "Janelle (My name is janene ) I would like you to call me to discuss your results from your CD21 test and what they mean" - Mind you two days before we had that discussion already! I mean wtf? So he didn't end up doing the script - It was out of accident the pharmacy screwed up the original script and I was giving an extra month dosage by mistake, so I had enough at home to double it.
Then yesterday I rang him to organise a pathology form for todays CD21 blood test - He said come and pick it up that afternoon - I show up, and she tells me he's left at lunch for vacation for a week...and NO FREAKIN FORM! So I can't get a cd21 blood test, so I have no idea if the double dosage worked. I'm so so so so so so so so so pissed. I mean, he's treating this with a "whatever" approach, but fuck it this is my life - and this is my dream! And I feel he's screwing with me. Grrr....
So I'm going to see my GP next week for a referral to someone else.
I don't have the time or heart to deal with this anymore.
Sorry...had to vent that out. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | That sounds soo, sooo crap, Janene!! Grr, id be fuming too. Get another one, for sure. You deserve it (as do we all) to have a doctor treating you with respect and with as much importance as it is to you. They do exists, you know. the type who is really involved and takes it all as serious as you do.
I hope you find one just like that, babe!! , Omi xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thats crap hun - I'd look into getting a referral to someone else. If your GP does refer you elsewhere, will it hold you back much longer?

I hope not Sweetie - I'm going to go in there with a do or die approach. I will explain that I want to try something else, to determine why the Clomid is not working.
If all else fails I'll fall onto the floor in a blubbering mess and force them into my will!
Thanks for the support girls |

| Hi honey,
Dear God some people are infuriating to say the least. How could he be so flippant about something so important. You would think he of all people being a Gyno would understand, but obviously he had other things on his mind ... like his holiday.
You should ask him who Janelle is and whether he had breached patience confidentiality by leaving a message for her through you? Just to rub his mistake in a little. The least he could do is get your name right.
Definitely change and when you do you can speak to your new Gyno about this experience and if they are worth anything, they should give you an extra bit of TLC.
Shame you missed your 21 day blood test too. I intended to have one done this cycle and my workload got in the way but am going to try to arrange it for this one. I do understand the importance of yours though because of the extra dose of Clomid.
Did you get withdrawal symptoms from not temping or did you find it a bit of a stress relief? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | That is a load of crap if I've ever heard one. He shouldn't schedule appointments and times for you to come in and pick things up if he's not going to have them ready, I could maybe understand once, but not that many times. Hope you can find someone better quickly |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I hope you find someone who gives you the kind of care and devotion you deserve. He must not understand the stress TTCing causes or he wouldn't be putting more on you by being irresponsible and unproffessional.
Some people are only in their jobs to "check the block" and get a paycheck and that's not fair to people like you who depend on them for more than that.
Best of luck to you. |
