Evening Primrose Oil???

Ok, I have heard a few people saying on here they are taking it as a supplement.

Can I ask what it is taken for??

I know that my step mum uses it to keep her moodswings in check around AF...I think I also read here it helps with CM???

Its just I was in boots(gotta get those points!) andwas checking them out, thought about getting some but I figured I would ask here first about it and check out google too.

Plus OMG the capsules are huge like horse pills!!

Hiya

Mood swings, painful periods and apparently can increase CM. It takes a few months to work apparently though.

You can take it for the first half of your cycle, from CD1 until the day you ovulate but it's recommended that you don't take it after ovulation as it can cause contractions in your womb.

I'm on my second month of trying it - my periods aren't so painful this month - only 1 lot of strong painkillers as opposed to 2! ha ha

I take it throughout my whole cycle for reasons mentioned by Rachelle. Mine are also mixed with flaxseed oil, and natural source Omega 3's

It's supposed to help in the production of CM. I started this cycle. As Rachelle said, it can take a few months to start having an effect and you have to be careful not to take it after Ov.

Good luck!

I'm in my first month of taking it to increase ewcm. Haven't seen an increase yet. Interesting that it's meant to help with period pain etc, this month was the worst I had in a long time! Here's hoping it increase the cm this month, can't afford pre-seed at the moment!!
