Ovulation tests, please help me to understand!

Good morning to everyone,

I ordered 20 ovulation tests, I have used 4 of them in the last 48 hours and they are all showing a slightly lighter line than the control region. Does this mean that I am not ovulating if the line is lighter?
Can the cheapies show lines all the time and not be true?
I am confused as all four have been positive!

We did go for it last night! Sorry tmi!!!!

This mornng the line is still there but lighter than the control region again!

Shim

If it shows a faint line go have sex. If it shows no line wait for 12-24 hours for the next test. If it shows a strong line have sex immediately, or wait till next cycle because having sex (for baby making that is lol!) after ovulation has pass is pointless.

So if you were to see a line, even if it was a bit lighter than the control line would you be going for it and getting excited?

I hope you get a line very soon,

Shim,

If I got a faint line I'd have sex everyday until my ovulation day.
I guess ppl with irregular periods that can't predict their OD take these tests, So yes when you get a faint line anytime soon it's your ovulation and you should make love!!! I wouldn't take a chance to miss my OV waiting to see if the test shows a big bright line.

I bought internet cheaps too and boots own brand ones.

I was sing the cheapies for a few days and got nothing..so yesterday I used a boots one and got a faint pink line, so me being me used a cheapie and got the faintest ever line, I get all excited as this has never happened before. I decided to do a further test after tea yesterday and got nothing at all, needless to say I was annoyed then today I used the cheapies again at 10:30 am and got again the faintest of faintest lines. But according to their instructions the line needs to be as dark or darker then th eocntrol which it is not. I am CD10 andmy predicted ovulation is CD13, I am was getting pains in my right ovary last night and today soooo am hoping the line can onlyget darker. But I saysee a line get BD'ing. Saying that my OH got home late last night an then we hd a row so no BD'ing for me on my first ever faint OPK line

Just check the back of the pack and make sure you are reading it right, not all the cheapies follow the line as dark or darker rule - mine don't it's one line neg two lines pos - far easier!

Also make sure you are testing at the right time ( 2pm is a good time) and not with first pee and that you are not weeing or drinking for 4 hours before you take the test. Oh and it's supposed to be at room temp too, so leave it on the side in a cup for 20 mins

If I got a faint line I would just start bding anyway

Oh I would have been getting some if OH hadnt been in foul mood after work, but even showing him my sticks with lines wasnt enough for him to BD with me...I have my pre-seed and everything ready for "the make-up sex" tonigh!!! plus he is off for the next 4 days as am I so he better be ready for a whole weekend of

Yeah I knew they could survive for a good few days but I never knew 5-7, GOSH!!! Well there may still be guys thee from CD7 keeping guard, but better sendin reinforcements this-evening.

I read my tests and it say as dark or darker, mighttry th eroom temp bit though, and I never use emu, except for HPT.

OH got the message about babys, where they came from and why do I bother temping, peeing in cups and staring at small lines if wedont have sex at the times that could help us have one etc etc...

Roll on tonight!

I don't tell him anything about taking temp, checking the CP, or take notes on mucus , I think that would be a turn off for him, and I try to get him in a sexy mood as often as possible.

Go get pretty and good luck!!!
